Our Team

Janine L. Malcolm ND, LAc is a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and Licensed Acupuncturist.

She received her BA in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley in 1995. Dr. Malcolm also studied sports medicine and was certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a fitness and strength trainer in 1996.  She then went on to study natural medicine at Bastyr University, and graduated with her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and her Master of Science in Acupuncture in 2000.

Dr. Malcolm completed her clinical studies in Seattle, WA and an overseas internship in Shanghai, China.

She has been living and practicing in Boulder, CO since 2000.  Dr. Malcolm is also adjunct faculty at Naropa University and the Northwest Institute of Medical Herbalism.


Rosia W. Parrish ND, is a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine.

rosia-may2016Dr. Parrish was born and raised in Colorado and earned her undergraduate degree (BA) in Anthropology (2004) that focused on Medical & Nutritional Anthropology and Pharmaceutical Politics with a Pre-Med Focus at CU-Boulder.  She worked in HIV research in Colorado, DC, Argentina, and Mexico, for nearly a decade.

Dr. Parrish completed her medical training at Bastyr University in Seattle, WA, and is practicing as a naturopathic doctor in Colorado.  She was trained to provide naturally-focused medicine to patients of all ages, backgrounds, and medical conditions.

In her free time, Dr. Parrish enjoys working on naturopathic legislative efforts, serving the underserved, redeveloping her love of  Kundalini yoga and meditation, and continuing to learn and relearn the mechanisms of reversing chronic disease, treating the root cause of illnesses, and preventing diseases from arising in the first place.


Kat Dunbar MSOM, L.Ac., is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist.

She holds a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) with over 3,092 hours of training from Southwest Acupuncture College, located in Boulder, Colorado. Kat is nationally certified as a Diplomat in Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Kat has studied in the fields of OBGYN, Infertility, Gerontology, Pediatrics, and Oncology.  Kat also studied sports medicine and trigger point therapy, and went on to intern in the sports medicine training room at the University of Colorado, where she treated some of the nations best Division I collegiate athletes.  During her last year of school, Kat sought out advanced training in Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine at the Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Shenyang, China.  In China, she had advanced training in stroke rehabilitation, gynecological disorders, pediatric conditions, and Tuina therapy. 

Before beginning her career in Chinese Medicine, Kat was a student at the University of Colorado at Boulder. There, she studied anthropology, psychology, and found her passion for living a healthy life. Kat is passionate about cooking, reading, traveling, gardening and spending time with her husband & 3 pups out on their farm! 


Amelia Kauffman, is a Certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner from Nutritional Therapy Associatiameliakauffmanon, and she is also the clinic’s office manager. We are grateful for all the services she provides to the clinic.
